And now for something different. Inventive Brooklyn based art student Yona Lee carefully nibbled 450 Nilla Wafers to reflect the 450 different phases of the moon. The partially eaten cookies were placed on a black backdrop to create an amazingly accurate lunar progression chart. She said that the inspiration for the project came from a desire to reawaken imaginative childhood instincts. This original endeavour, entitled ‘Yummy Moon’ is part of a sub-project for her thesis ‘Mom, I found the moon.’ You can find more about Lee’s project here.
