Pitch Pine Pottery

Established 2016 and based in Buzzard’s Bay (what a name!), Massachusetts, Pitch Pine Pottery is run by Tara Brault and her husband Matthew. The two create the most amazing pieces out of clay – from mugs via vases through to earrings.

“Our desire is to bring art with form and function into every home. We want our work to be affordable and accessible to as many people as possible, and we work relentlessly to engage our audience at all levels.
We feel strongly that life often imitates art and seek to inspire and be inspired by the world around us.” Pitch Pine Pottery

What I like most about their pieces are the colour gradients! Also, some of the pieces come with hand-carved details of mountain ranges or native animals.
Despite being crafted in New England, the ceramics by Pitch Pine Pottery make me dream of a lonely cabin somewhere in the woods of Scandinavia, a big mug of strong tea and fog rising up from the treetops. But I think that the ceramics eventually match both rustic interiors and modern, more minimalistic interiors.

(Just look at these little ear studs! So adorable!)

The clay mugs or dishes by Pitch Pine Pottery not only look absolutely gorgeous, they are also practical, for they are dishwasher and microwave safe.
